# Living across borders shouldn’t require faith.

getax turns client intake into a tax position your firm can defend. Every number traces to the official text that says so.

getax provides decision support, not licensed tax advice.

- 4,790+ validated facts
- 84 jurisdictions
- 870+ official sources

As of September 2026.

## From official law to a report your firm can defend.

Official sources flow through extraction, validation and a tax fact warehouse. A client intake activates the facts that apply, which are assembled into a cited draft the firm's reviewers inspect and refine; every version is kept.

## For the firms that sign cross-border advice

getax helps your team turn client facts into source-backed tax analysis. Compare jurisdictions, trace findings to official sources, and prepare reports for your firm's review—so your advisers can spend more time evaluating options and advising clients.

Support for your client engagements:

- Personal relocations
- Founder and executive moves
- Cross-border employment
- International families

## Where your reviewer inspects and refines the draft.

The console opens the evidence behind any sentence, takes an instruction to regenerate, and keeps every version.

## From intake link to a reviewed position.

1. **Send the intake.** Create the engagement in the console and send the link; your client needs no account.
2. **Collect the facts.** Your client answers plain questions at their own pace, with consent collected before anything is stored.
3. **Draft the position.** The profile is tested against validated facts for every jurisdiction it touches; every number carries its citation.
4. **Review and refine.** Your reviewer inspects and refines the draft in the console, then shares the report.

## What your client receives.

- **Numbered citations.** Every material sentence carries one; open it to see the authority, the archived document and the quoted passage.
- **Evidence cards.** The statute, circular or treaty quoted verbatim, with document version and retrieval date.
- **Absences, stated outright.** Where no tax applies, the report says so and cites the source: Cyprus levies no tax on gains from the sale of shares.
- **The attestation line.** The last page states how many factual claims were checked and how many the check supported.

## Coverage you can check before a pilot.

4,790+ validated facts across 84 jurisdictions, drawn from 870+ official sources, as of September 2026. A validated fact is a versioned rule, rate, threshold, condition or exemption tied to an exact passage in an official source. Depth varies by jurisdiction: some hold engagement-level detail and some hold a validated baseline, so the count alone does not tell you whether your corridor is ready.

From 24% to 98% — measured against naive AI models. What changed, and why the model was never the product: [The worst number we ever measured](https://www.getax.io/blog/the-worst-number-we-ever-measured.md).

A delivered report keeps the exact fact versions it cited, so yesterday's report does not inherit today's rate.

Security and procurement questions are answered in writing, with evidence, before a pilot begins.

## Questions worth asking before a pilot.

**Is this licensed tax advice?**

No. getax prepares a drafted position for your firm's review. Each report says so on its face and names the licensed specialists to consult before acting. The advice and the sign-off stay with your firm.

**What prevents it from inventing a number?**

The draft can cite only facts that cleared validation before the engagement arrived. Every validated rate or threshold fact requires Tier-1 evidence: tax authority, legislation, or treaty text. A check then tests each factual claim against the stored evidence and flags to your reviewer any it cannot support; the delivered report carries the count on its last line.

**How deep is the relevant jurisdiction coverage?**

It varies, and getax says by how much. Name your jurisdictions before a pilot and you get the category depth, the last validation date and the known gaps for each, in writing.

**Where does client data go?**

Into your firm's isolated workspace, encrypted at rest and hosted in the European Union. Personal data stays out of logs and web addresses. Consent is collected at intake; exports and erasure are available on request. Subprocessors, retention and the data-processing agreement are on the security and privacy pages.

## Evaluate it on matters you have already closed.

A shadow pilot runs on completed files with no client involved; your reviewers score each draft against the answer your firm reached.

A 30-minute working session focused on your jurisdictions, existing workflow and evaluation requirements. Tell us which jurisdictions you work with. We'll review the current coverage and known gaps before the meeting.
